Evaluation
After watching the opening titles of the three different films (The Kingdom, Casino Royale & Max Payne), I realised that there were both similarities but mostly difference depending on what the film is about. For example in the opening title of "The Kingdom" & "Max Payne" there was a really fast tempo compared to the other two opening titles, this created some kind of tension and thriller while watching the opening scene as you are expecting to see something in the next shot. Also in "The Kingdom" the use of voiceover was different from the other two opening titles as they has a sound track only. In the opening title of Casino Royale there was a sound track that was really retro and went with the theme of guns and cards. The images were very animated as they used the card symbols to symbolised the bullets coming out of the gun, this implied that the film is going to be about guns & casinos. Lastly, the opening title for Max Payne immediately sent an impression that the film is going to be about guns, as the opening titles had various guns and explosive. The sound track for the opening title was mainly the sound effect of guns & explosive overlapping the sound track, moreover the titles were always centred and there we no images compared to the other two clips.
